Testimonials
"Sarah immediately grasped the principles of our business, identified opportunities for improvement and, importantly, implemented them herself.
She improved our systems, developed a website that increased enquiries and profitability, and introduced simple tools that made running the business much easier.
We felt she would have been ideal as a full-time manager and strongly recommend her to any small business looking to improve efficiency and performance."

About Sarah
Helping Local Businesses Work Smarter, Not Harder
Over the past 14 years, I have used my experience in banking, healthcare and operational improvement to help organisations streamline processes, reduce inefficiencies and improve the way they work.
My passion is helping people spend less time battling paperwork, administration and frustrating systems, and more time focusing on the work they enjoy and the customers they serve.
Whether it's simplifying spreadsheets, improving reporting, reducing duplication, organising information or introducing practical new ways of working, I believe that small changes can often make a significant difference.
My Experience
Royal Bank of Scotland International
As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, I worked within a team established following the 2008 financial crisis to help operational departments improve efficiency, reduce waste and solve complex business problems.
Working alongside managers and frontline teams, I helped:
Map and analyse business processes
Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks
Reduce duplication and unnecessary administration
Improve communication between teams
Introduce practical process improvements
Support business change initiatives
Develop sustainable solutions to recurring problems
A key part of my role was helping teams understand the root causes behind operational issues.
Rather than simply treating symptoms, we focused on understanding why problems occurred in the first place and implementing solutions that delivered lasting improvements.
I also provided one-to-one coaching and support to team leaders, helping them improve time management, prioritisation and team effectiveness.
St Clare Hospice
As Clinical Database Manager, I was responsible for supporting one of the organisation's most important operational systems and helping teams make better use of information.
During my time at St Clare Hospice, I:
Led large-scale cross-service improvement projects
Developed clinical dashboards and performance reports
Improved reporting and data quality
Created a comprehensive video training library for staff
Chaired organisation-wide change meetings
Scoped and managed system improvements
Worked closely with clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver practical solutions
This role strengthened my expertise in data analysis, reporting, stakeholder engagement and service improvement while giving me a deep appreciation for the challenges faced by busy teams working under pressure.
My Approach
I believe most businesses don't need complicated systems or expensive consultants.
The biggest improvements often come from:
✔ Better processes
✔ Better organisation
✔ Better information
I work alongside business owners and teams to identify practical opportunities that save time, reduce stress and improve performance.
My approach is supportive, collaborative and jargon-free.
I focus on solutions that are realistic, sustainable and easy to implement.
Whether you're a sole trader, small business owner, charity or community organisation, my aim is simple:
To help you spend less time on administration and more time doing what you do best.
